A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small squat shape with an elegant scrolling handle, wavy rim and three feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 56g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1919, Reid & Sons and the base is stamped "Reid & Sons, Newcastle on Tyne".
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and small dinks here and there but nothing detrimental and it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
