A good example of a Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is an elegant Georgian design with a beautifully shaped handle and elongated spout standing on a round foot. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 111g.
It is hallmarked for Chester, 1908 and the makers George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
The jug is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and light signs of age and use and a few small dinks around the foot but nothing detrimental and it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
