A good example of a Sterling Silver Christening cup. It has a squat rounded shape with a scrolling handle. It has not been engraved with any initials so would make a great gift. It is stylish and good quality and it weighs approximately 49g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1927 and the maker S.Blanckensee & Son.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor dinks and small dents here and there but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
