A good example of a solid silver card case. It has a hinged lid and an attractive scrolling shaped border. It is beautifully decorated with an engraved swirling pattern and a corner cartouche on one side with initials HJ.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1905 and it weighs approximately 43g.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
