A good example of an antique silver baby's rattle with mother of pearl teething ring. The body of the rattle is beautifully decorated on both sides with a scene of a cow jumping over the moon as in the famous nursery rhyme. There are two small bells attached and it has a short mother of pearl handle.
It is fully hallmarked for Glasgow, 1929 and the maker W H Collins & Co.
It is in good condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some minor surface marks and small knocks and some wear on the teething ring but nothing detrimental or untoward.
