A fine example of an ornate Sterling Silver tea caddy spoon. It has a wide bowl decorated in repousse with two figures carrying geese. The handle has a pair of stylised dolphins below a cottage on the tip.
The spoon is good quality, weighing approximately 32g. It is fully hallmarked for John Maitland Talbot, Edinburgh, 1902.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use or display.
