Product Details

A good example of a small brass pocket microscope dating from the early 20th Century. It is made of lacquered brass with a single lens and the slides are held in place via a slot in the middle section of the circular body which is spring loaded.

The microscope measures approximately 1 3/4" (4.5cm) high and is 1" (2.5cm) in diameter.

The microscope is in good condition for its age. It has been well used and has normal signs of wear and age. The brass has tarnished over time and there are some small knocks and light marks but nothing detrimental. It has not been tested and is really being sold as a decorative / collectors item rather than an accurate scientific instrument.
