A good antique pine blanket box dating from the early 20th century. It is very well made with dovetail joints and its original metal carrying handles. Inside it has its original strap hinges and a small candle box. A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy trunk.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use, some light knocks and marks and a couple of minor old stains on the top surface but nothing untoward and it is generally clean and tidy inside. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
