Product Details

A nice example of an original pine laboratory stand dating from the late 19th / early 20th century, complete with many of its original bottles and equipment. The stand itself is made from stained pine and it has a drawer in the base which has various old tins and pieces of medical equipment.

There are a row of bottles at the front of the stand with a spirit burner raised in the middle. Behind this is a row of smaller stands and above are further sections, possibly for test tubes. At the back of the stand are 5 compartments which have various beakers and measuring cylinders in.

It is in good condition for its age. There are plenty of signs of age and use around the stand, some marks and stains and an old repaired split in the back but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy.

There are no major damages to any of the glass bottles or items, just some nibbles and small chips around the tops of some of them but nothing serious. The stand is not complete and some of the bottles and accessories may not be totally original but it still displays very well.
