An unusual oak Turner's Chair dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a traditional triangular corner shape with bulbous turned legs and turned arms. It has its original rush seat and also comes with a specially made fitted cushion.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some surface marks and light wear on the finish but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The chair stands approximately 35 1/2" (90cm) high, it is 23 1/2" (60cm) wide across the arms and 20" (51cm) deep. The seat is 18" (46cm) high.
