Antique Oak Swivel and Tilt Desk Chair
A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a thick shaped seat. It has an attractive curving shape and the back is supported by turned spindles and two scrolling arms. It has four splayed legs with castors below. The height of the seat is adjustable, the chair swivels on a large bolt and also tilts when you lean back in the chair.
It is in very good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks and knocks here and there but nothing detrimental. The swivel mechanism is in good strong working order with minimal play for a chair of this age.
It is approximately 32" (81cm) high and the arms are 23" (59cm) wide. The seat is approximately 18" (46cm) high and 18 1/2" (47cm) deep
