A beautiful oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made. It has a lovely shape with a shaped back and large curving arms. The seat is upholstered in a brown leather and it has four legs, terminating in castors. The chair swivels on a large bolt and also tilts backwards when you lean back in the chair.
It is in very good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age. The seat is in good condition and the mechanism for tilting and swivelling is in good, strong working order.
It is approximately 33 1/2" (85cm) high and the arms are 24 1/2" (62cm) wide. The seat is 19 1/2" (50cm) deep.
