A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a thick saddle shaped seat. It has a curving back supported by shaped splats with heart cut-outs and two scrolling arms. It has four splayed legs and swivels around on a central bolt.
It is in good condition for its age and has developed a lovely patina. It is not without a few small marks and knocks here and there but nothing detrimental. There are a couple of old repairs but nothing untoward and the chair is strong and sturdy. The swivel mechanism is in good working order with minimal movement for a chair of this age.
It is approximately 35" (89cm) high and the arms are 23" (59cm) wide. The seat is approximately 18" (46cm) high and 19 3/4" (50cm) deep
