A decorative carved oak panel dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It features the popular 'Green Man' figure in the middle with carved scrolling foliate each side. It was likely once part of a larger piece of furniture but its size and shape makes it a nice decorative feature on a mantel or above a doorway or window.
It is in good condition and displays well. The carving is good quality and the oak has a lovely rich patina. There are some minor surface marks and knocks but no major damages and nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
