A large antique dinner gong dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good quality piece and the brass gong hangs in an oak frame with nicely turned supports, turned finials and sleigh feet. The gong is stamped "Burmese" and it comes with its original wooden handled beater.
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
