A lovely oak collection or donation box dating from the early 20th Century, It is well made from solid oak with a coin slot in the top and a shaped upstand with a hole for hanging. There is a door at the back which can be unscrewed to access the money inside. An unusual quirky piece with lots of history.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use, some light knocks and marks but no major damages. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays well.
