A lovely example of a novelty miniature sterling silver chair, perhaps for a Dolls House. It is a very pretty piece with repousse bird decoration and delicate cabriole legs.
It is good quality and well made and is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1901 and the maker Samuel Boyce Landeck. It weighs approximately 15g.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
