A good example of a large shop display cabinet dating from the early 20th Century. It has a mahogany frame with glass sides and a hinged door with two brass closing latches. The inside is fitted with three glass shelves supported by brass brackets.
It is in good condition and displays well. There are signs of age and use and it is not without some small marks and knocks but nothing detrimental. One of the brass latches has been replaced but still works and closes tightly. There are some surface scratches on the internal glass shelves and minor nibbles around the edges but no major damages to any of the glass. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
