Product Details

A good example of an early 20th Century leather fly fishing wallet. It contains various tools and pages of hand tied flies. There are some lovely hand written notes and tips and there are some papers giving examples of knots and attaching hooks. There are also two original fishing permits from Tasmania and Kashmir from 1927 and 1939 for a Major Bisset. His name is also written on the back.

It is a lovely piece full of history. It is in good condition for its age and it has a wonderful patina. There are signs of age and use, a few small marks here and there and some wear to the leather but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
