Product Details

A good example of an antique farmhouse chair dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It has a thick shaped seat with curved arms supported by turned spindles. It is high backed with lathe supports and it stands on turned legs joined by stretchers.

It is in good original condition and has developed a lovely patina. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks around the legs and some light surface marks on the seat but nothing detrimental and the chair is strong and sturdy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The chair stands approximately 45" (114cm) high and is 23" (58cm) wide across the arms. The seat is approximately 17" (43cm) high and 19" (48cm) deep.
