A beautiful antique French Sevres style candelabra dating from the mid to late 19th Century, which has been converted into a table lamp.
The body of the lamp is gilt metal featuring neoclassical elements like the urn shape, acanthus leaves, swags, and ornate base with hooved feet. The body of the urn is ceramic and it has a matching Sevres style porcelain plaque in the base hand painted with an image of a cherub.
It has been PAT tested and rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb.
It is a very decorative piece and it is in good condition for its age. There are some minor signs of age and wear but nothing detrimental and no damage to the porcelain.
