A good example of a large cut glass bowl with a solid silver rim. The glass is beautifully cut and it stands on a heavy round foot.
The silver rim is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1928 and the maker Alexander Clark & Co.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some minor surface nibbles around the glass but no major damages and it displays well. There are some small dinks and surface marks on the silver rim and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
