A superb banker's style desk lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It is a very well made and stylish piece with a heavy copper base and a copper arm and shade. The whole lamp moves up and down on the supporting arm and the angle of the lamp and the angle of the shade can also be further adjusted.
The lamp has been re-wired and PAT Tested and is in good working order. The original bulb holder has been preserved with its on/off pull cord, although the cord and pull have been replaced at some point in its life.
It is in very good condition for its age. The metal has tarnished over time and there are signs of age and use and some minor dinks and surface marks here and there but overall it displays very well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
