A lovely example of a novelty miniature sterling silver caddy basket or planter, perhaps for a Dolls House. It is a very pretty piece with repousse decoration, delicate cabriole legs and a swing handle.
It is good quality and well made and is hallmarked on the base. It is a continental piece and is marked .800 silver. It weighs approximately 24g.
It is in good condition. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks, small dinks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
