A lovely bentwood child's rocking chair dating from the early 20th Century. The curved seat is made of pierced ply with a studded border. It has turned finials and turned stretchers and it stands on long rockers.
It stands approximately 23" (58cm) high, 13 1/2" (34cm) wide and the rockers are 22" (56cm) long.
It is in good condition and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are some signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks on the front of the seat and around the legs and some wear on the finish here and there but nothing detrimental. It has developed a lovely rich patina and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
