A lovely set of antique weighing scales dating from the mid 20th Century. They were originally used in a Pharmacy and this eye catching set would have likely been on the counter. The scales themselves are chrome and have two large weighing pans. The arm is marked "To Weigh 2lb. Class B".
The scales stand on a polished black base with a great advert for Beecham's Pills in the middle.
They are in good original condition. The chrome has tarnished over time and there are signs of age and use and some minor marks and knocks but nothing detrimental. The surface of the advert has stained and faded slightly over time but it still displays well.
