An unusual bronze classical style urn, dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century, which has been converted to a table lamp. It has two scrolling arms with foliate decoration and it has been mounted to a good quality turned ebonised wooden base. It is a very good quality piece with lots of detail, good casting and a good weight.
It has been converted to an electric table lamp and re-wired with a standard bayonet bulb holder. It is in good working order and has been PAT Tested for electrical safety.
The lamp is in excellent condition and displays well. There are some minor marks and general signs of age use but nothing detrimental. I
t has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
