A good example of a late 19th century brass door stop in the form of a hairy lion's paw with four claws. It is good quality and the foot is filled and weighted. There is a stem and handle to easily move the door stop which is also nicely detailed with a rope twist finish.

It is in good condition for its age with no damages. The brass has tarnished over time and has been left to give a nice aged patina although it could be polished up if desired. There are some light surface scratches and signs of use and age but nothing detrimental.
