A nice example of a brass Corinthian column table lamp dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It has the traditional column design set on a stepped base. Possibly once an oil lamp base, it has now been converted to an electric table lamp and re-wired with a standard bayonet bulb holder. It is in good working order and has been PAT Tested for electrical safety.
The lamp is in good condition. There are some minor marks and general signs of age and use and some small dinks and dents but nothing detrimental. The brass is tarnished in places but i
t has been lightly cleaned and polished and still displays well.
