A lovely original candlestick telephone dating from the 1920s. The transmitter head is marked W-24 4001 No1 for Western Electric and it has its original bakelite receiver which hangs in a bracket on the side. The heavy weighted base is impressed TSA 34 and it has the remains of its original fabric cables.
It is in good condition for its age. There is a small chip on the top of the receiver but no major damages. There are general signs of age and use, some light surface marks and knocks and some paint loss in places but overall it displays very well.
It has not been converted or messed around with, it is totally original and is not being sold as a working item but a beautiful decorative piece.
