Product Details
A good quality 18th Century silver salt cellar. It is a squat shape with a rounded bowl and three hooved feet. It has a gilt lining although this has worn slightly over the years.
It is clearly hallmarked on the base London, 1761, David Mowden and it weighs approximately 40g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks and a small dent on one edge but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
