Product Details
A good example of a small Georgian Solid Silver caddy spoon. It has a short handle and a distinctive large shell shaped spoon. The handle is engraved with a pretty decorative border and it is a very delicate piece.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1797 and the maker Edward Mayfield. It weighs approximately 6g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks here and there but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
