Product Details

A superb quality Georgian mahogany tilt-top wine table dating from the late 18th Century. It has a circular one-piece mahogany top standing on a gun-barrel turned support with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. The top has a raised lip around the edge and the legs have beautiful carved detail where they join the stem.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The table has a lovely rich colour with a good level top, strong catch and smooth tilting mechanism. There are some signs of age and use, a few small surface marks, old stains and light knocks but nothing detrimental and there are no major damages. The table is strong and sturdy, it has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
