Product Details
A fine example of an 18th Century mahogany tea caddy of square form with a brass escutcheon and small brass carrying handle. The caddy is oak lined and has three compartments for tea and the lid of the box is lined with green baize. It comes with a working key.
It is in very good condition for its age with a lovely rich patina. The interior is generally clean and tidy with some wear and small losses to the baize lining. There are some signs of age and use, some minor knocks and marks and a couple of old repairs but no major damages. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
