A large antique gilt overmantel mirror of simple arch-top design with its original ceramic bun feet. The gilded frame is in good condition and it has its original glass and a good quality wood boarded back. The ceramic feet allow it to be stood on a mantle or there are fixing brackets for hanging on the wall.
It is in good condition. There are some very minor knocks and small losses around the edges of the mirror frame and it has been repainted at some point in its life but it still displays very nicely. The mirror glass has spots and signs of wear and some streaks within the glass itself, giving a very aged and foxed look to the glass. The mirror has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
