A large antique footstool dating from the late 19th century. The stool is excellent quality with turned mahogany legs and mahogany side rails with incised reeded decoration. It has a firm upholstered seat which has been recently covered in a good quality blue and white ticking fabric.
The stool is in good condition for its age and the upholstery is clean and tidy. There are signs of age and use around the legs, some small marks and knocks and an old shrinkage split but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy.
