A good example of an Art Deco style chrome standard lamp dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It is a simple geometric design, typical of the Art Deco period, with a hexagonal base set on small bun feet and an angular upright. The chrome has been lightly polished and has a good shine, giving almost a mirrored effect.
It has been rewired to modern standards, PAT tested and it takes a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. There are some marks, light surface scratches and small dinks around the base and some light pitting and tarnishing but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
