A large pine housekeeper's cupboard dating from the late 19th Century. It has two sets of panelled cupboard doors with two small drawers between them. The cupboards both have shelved interiors and the doors and drawers each have brass knobs. It is a good quality piece with panelled sides and an overhanging cornice.
It is in good condition for its age and the pine has a nice warm colour and a lovely patina. The interior is generally clean and tidy and the drawers open smoothly. There are some signs of age and use, some marks and knocks and some shrinkage splits in the panels but overall it is strong and sturdy. There have been some old repairs here and there over the years but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
